Busy, busy

I have been really busy the last few weeks. With a huge proposal's deadline looming by and the co-PIs being really slow, I have been doing my part and some of their part and still some more. Not that anyone says thank you. . .rather, they say "what about adding this too?" or "are we going to do this other also?".
I can't believe that they don't go and just do it themselves. I mean no one is preventing them from actually doing some work.
Yes, I am a bit frustrated. It helps that I like my job and what I do. It's just their attitude that bothers me ;)

Quite unrelated to this. . .U remember the flooding in my lab? Well, it seems that that is finally fixed (crossing fingers, toes, arms and legs). . . Unfortunately, now it's the ceiling and wall of my office that have started leaking :) Considering that my PC laptop is again KO (my MAC though is still running fine. Possibly because I take care of the MAC, while the PC is under the IT support's "care") too, I begin to wonder if it is my office to be possessed, or is it jinxed, or whatever. . .Is there any other explanation to the string of weird things that happen in this office, besides Murphy's Law?

Man, your office/lab sound messed up. Where do you work and what kind of work do you do there?

If you work with animals you better take one male and female of each, before your office/lab is flooded. Just kidding:)

I am an assistant professor :) somewhere in the southeast USA (if U read some of the past posts before I got the job, U can guess, but I don't right down the name so my students don't find me out ;) )

LOL to packing them up, but no, I have samples. . .and lots of electronic equipment ;)

To me it seems like this:
Every time something goes wrong, you come and write something, complaining. Then you disappear, enjoying the fun by yourself. It's unfair. You only share the weird part with your readers.

LOL! I just think the rest of it is not interesting for U'all :) (in addition to the "I can't rant about much more stuff than what I write")
